Gloria Onuh Reveals the 7 Gaps That Kept Her Stuck for Years — Even After Prayer, Fasting, and Two University Degrees

You've prayed.

Not once. Not casually. You've fasted, sown your seed, paid your tithe even in the months it hurt to do it.

You did the "right" things too — the certificate, maybe two. The CV you've updated more times than you can count. The interviews you prepared for, that never called back.

"Why is everyone else moving forward, and I'm still here?"

You've asked that question at 1am, quietly, where no one could hear the doubt in it.

You are not lazy. You are not unfaithful. You have not been forgotten.

But something has been missing — and it was never about praying harder.

Stop scrolling for a second. I want to tell you exactly what it was.

Because I'm about to share the 7 specific gaps that were quietly keeping me stuck — and how naming them finally changed everything.

This isn't ancient wisdom or a secret ritual. It's something simpler and, honestly, harder to admit: for years I was praying for doors to open without preparing for what would happen when they did.

Hi, I'm Gloria Onuh — founder of Glogital.ng. First thing you should know: I'm not a life coach, a pastor, or a motivational speaker. I'm just someone who spent years genuinely confused about why my faith and my finances didn't seem to be talking to each other.

My Real Story

I studied Psychology at university — not my first choice, but I embraced it. After NYSC, I got my first job as an administrative officer at a bureau de change.

For the first time, life felt like it made sense. Education, graduation, employment — I'd done everything "right."

Then the company shut down overnight, due to regulatory changes. My income stopped. I had no savings, no buffer, no backup plan.

I told myself I'd find another job quickly. Weeks became months. So I did what I thought would fix it: I went back to school for a Master's degree.

I thought I just needed more qualification. I was wrong.

Even after finishing my Master's, nothing changed. I moved to Abuja in 2020 expecting better opportunities. Instead, I picked up short NGO contracts — data entry, cataloguing, temporary research work — one after another, none of them stable.

Through all of it, I prayed. I fasted. I stayed active in church. My prayer was always the same: "Lord, give me a stable job."

In 2022, something started to shift — not my circumstances, but how I listened. Teachings I'd heard for years about value, wisdom, and responsibility finally started to land. I stopped listening only for encouragement and started listening for understanding.

I began learning digital skills, sharpening what I already knew, taking every small project seriously — not because I could see where it led, but because I'd finally understood that preparation comes before opportunity, not after it.

Nothing dramatic changed on the outside for almost three years. But something was changing underneath.

Then in 2024, I joined a real estate company. This time I showed up differently — not just as an employee, but as someone focused on solving problems, not just collecting a salary.

My employer noticed. My colleagues noticed too.

Within two months, my salary increased. A few months later, it increased again. About a year in, I was promoted.

It wasn't luck. It was the direct outcome of finally closing gaps I didn't know I had.

And then — I resigned.

Not because anything went wrong. Because for the first time, I understood my own value clearly enough to stop trading it for a salary.

Today I run my own digital business. I consult for NGOs on the side. I'm no longer someone chasing a 9-to-5 — I'm someone who builds.

I won't lie to you and say it happened by accident. Every part of that shift traces back to the exact same 7 gaps I'm about to show you — and the specific moment each one closed.

I put everything — the full framework, the reflection questions, the exact action steps, how to know which gap is costing you the most — inside one simple guide.

I was blown away reading this book. It was as if Gloria was reading my journal. The way she broke down those gaps made me realize there are a lot of people like us asking questions we may never get answers to if we don't come across knowledge like this.
